Unit 7: The Sun
Solar Ovens Biography of a Hydrogen Atom If you were absent the day we built out solar ovens there are 2 options to make up this project: 1. Build a solar oven and bring it in 2. Research solar ovens, why we use them and their benefits and write a 1-2 page double spaced, typed essay about what you learned. You can start your research at the following site (make sure to click on the links especially the why and where at the bottom to continue your research): http://www.solarcookers.org/basics/how.html |
Unit 4
APOD Observe a meteor shower Rocket project Rocket groups Rocket Project: If you were not there for the rocket build, you will need to do a make-up assignment in order to receive credit for the project (I highly recommend this because a project is worth 75 points!) There are two options: 1. Actually design and build your own rocket (with your own supplies) to house an egg safely. 2. Research the Martian rovers and write a report summarizing what Opportunity and Curiosity are doing now. This is for a project, so the write up does need to be at least a page (typed please). Opportunity Curiosity Any other questions let me know and I can help you finish the project! |
